On Rosh Chodesh Elul, the mekubalim of the yeshivah will begin a massive 40-day tefillah event spanning the entire month of Elul continuously, through the days of Rosh Hashanah, Aseres Yemei Teshuvah, and all the way until the communal cry of “Hashem Hu haElokim!” in the final moments of Yom Kippur.
