To Our Dear Supporter;
Our Yeshiva is a center of sacred learning for many dozen Talmudic scholars, all of them immersed in the study of our Holy Torah. The most perceptive and profound among them are also students of the esoteric doctrines of the Holy Ari Rabbi Isaac Luria Ashkenazi, may his memory ever be a blessing to us and to all Israel Amen.
He who in His Holiness gave the Torah to Israel has seen that the holy secrets known to our sages were passed down from generation to generation, until they came to the Holy Ari Z’L, and his disciples, especially in “Etz Chaim” written by Rabbi Chaim Vital Z”l. They revealed them and expanded on them in their sacred writings: writings which our students labor over with diligence and perseverance. It is a source of profound pleasure to see so many groups of students immersed in their studies at all hours of the day and night.
Although the students, Rabbis and Kabbalists, have the spiritual means to serve the Almighty, with esoteric love, they lack the material means to devote themselves to it with undivided attention. This is due not only to the worsening economic situation in our land, but to the increasing number of the students joining our Yeshiva. Our Hall of Studies is overcrowded, and many of the students are forced to study in various building in Jerusalem.
We therefore turn to you to help us come with our difficult situation so that our Yeshivah may enjoy continued success. We hope and pray that you will find it in your heart to help us, thus becoming partners in our holy studies, and thereby merit the blessing of the Zohar for the arrival of the Moshiach.
